Our guestspeaker was Patrick Donegan who enlighten us on the subject of "Limewire" Patrick is a longtime Mac User, Electric Car enthusiast, and part owner of Lava Net.

We will also spent time getting to know the interests of those that attended the meeting to get a better understanding of what the Mac users on the Big Isalnd are interested in persueing, making this a viable Mac User Group for all.

The first MUG meeting was small but mighty. There were 7 people, and ready to invite all their pals. We all agreed that it would be useful to switch our meetings alternatively from PUNA TO HILO on alternating months. We still do not have a location with computers, but there are enough folks with Laptops to make it more interesting, at least. Our plans are to network each others talents, so we all know who knows what, giving us greater resources. It was also talked about to organize workshops, and a recycled computer sale.

We need to come to consensus about the next meeting time . Maybe a weekday evening would be good in Hilo, and we have a location we're checking on. Please reply to this email to give your preference:
